Oh yes! I am one of the many who had the life changing good fortune to work with Carol as my mid-wife. My daughter came into the world a little earlier than intended, and I was not “ready.” I called Carol from my office and will always hear her deepen her voice and say: “Jessica. Go home. Your baby is coming.” And I am also one of the many who when I saw Carol anywhere, she would look deeply into my eyes, and say “how are you?” In a way that allowed whatever the truth of the moment to emerge. A woman who showed me in her way of living some of the shapes I wanted in my own life. Love to her as she makes her way to that pond. And love to her family and all who loved her.
